Information Technology Certified Professional is the 'gold standard' of professional performance in ICT. The programme is operated by the New Zealand Computer Society to recognise true professionals in the ICT field. IT Certified Professionals are accredited through a rigorous assessment process covering technical and, importantly, ethical performance. Read more about ITCP.

Andrew Sewell was in the very first group of professionals to be accredited ITCP. Currently, he is certified in Solution Architecture and in Consulting, seeking certification in Training. Read his ITCP Registry record here.

During 2011 ITCP will be accredited by the IP3 to give it global recognition. This will state its equivalence to similar certifications like the British Computer Society's Chartered IT Professional
